Cote d’Ivoire is #60!

This news from ICAN and the United Nations—Cote d’Ivoire deposited its instrument of ratification with the Secretary General of the United Nations of March 24, 2022, becoming the 60th state party to the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons. It is also the 11th African state to join the Treaty.

According to the terms of the Treaty, it enters into force for Cote d’Ivoire in 90 days, on June 21, 2022.
